Our Journey

Jen Technologies was founded to provide practical IT solutions and services. Over the years we have grown from a small team to a trusted technology partner for a variety of clients across industries.

2008

Foundation

Jen Technologies was founded by a small group of technologists with a mission to deliver practical software and IT services. The company started with a compact team and a strong focus on client outcomes.

2010

First International Placements

Successfully placed our first group of workers in the Middle East. Established partnerships with recruitment agencies in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, expanding our reach beyond Uganda's borders.

2012

Training Center Launch

Opened our first training center to provide pre-departure orientation and skills development for job seekers. This marked our commitment to ensuring workers are well-prepared for their roles.

2015

Government Recognition

Received commendation from the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development for exemplary recruitment practices and contribution to employment generation in Uganda.

2018

Regional Expansion

Expanded operations to include partnerships in Kenya and Tanzania. Reached milestone of 3,000 successful job placements since inception.

2020

Digital Transformation

Launched online application portal and digital services to make recruitment more accessible. Adapted operations during COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining service quality.

2023

IOM Partnership

Established formal partnership with International Organization for Migration to promote safe migration practices and worker protection. Implemented enhanced ethical recruitment standards.

2025

Continued Growth

Celebrating over 5,000 successful placements. Expanded training facilities and strengthened partnerships with employers across multiple countries. Recognized as a leading recruitment agency in Uganda.
